Loving, Looking Forward to, Planning, Wearing, and Eating

Loving

I'm loving our almond tree!  It's always been one of the first signs of Spring coming and so beautiful. It's leaning further and further each year.

Looking Forward to

I am looking forward to the gift of Easter.  It's a time of deep reflection and gratitude.  The sacrifice and salvation so undeserved.  I was baptized on an Easter Sunday.  I loved my childhood church - a home away from home.  I've struggled to find a church to call home.

Planning

Planning - a much easier task to plan than to actually do.  I'm planning to paint this table and chairs to match our pellet stove - a dark charcoal.  I am not a trend follower when it comes to the farmhouse white.  I love a cozy and comforting softer tone - give me taupe, beige and off-white.  When we bought this table, it was always the intent to change the white.  I know this is a task that will take my pain levels up a notch or more, but I just need to do it.

Wearing

I love wearing fuzzy socks and a cozy handmade blanket and I am thoroughly enjoying the colder weather.

Eating

We've been eating a lot more vegetables.  This is one of our favorites .... frying lots of bell peppers with onions in a small bit of oil.  We use this in a variety of meals.
