Fall is my favorite time of year, yet I'm struggling to find joy with the cloud of grief that looms over our family. No normal seems normal. I'm trying to find a rhythm for our days and make plans, but it all comes with such indecisiveness.
Life moves on though, and I know that with each day that passes, our hearts will slowly heal.

1. Favorite Fall color? All of them! Oranges, browns, golds, tans, yellows, reds, and olive greens! Bring me a handful of fallen leaves and all the colors speak to me.
2. Apple cider Hot or Cold? Hot spiced apple cider, please!
3. Caramel apples: yes or no? Yes, but I really have to be in the mood for the sugar.
4. Pumpkin doughnut or apple cider doughnut? I've honestly never had either. I am thinking these need to be on my bucket list.
5. Long or short cardigan? Long cardigan with a pair of comfy jeans.
6. Favorite Fall party food? S'mores by the campfire or 7-layer dip with some chips makes some fun game nights. I don't actually like eating the s'mores so much, but enjoy the memories made together as we site by the fire and roast marshmallows.
7. Orange or white pumpkins? Although I enjoy seeing white pumpkins, I think I'm a little traditional and would prefer orange ones. This year, I bought an orange fairy tale pumpkin.
8. Hayride or Bonfire? Both!
9. Favorite Fall baked good? Homemade apple cobbler.
10. Most anticipated Fall activity? Going to the pumpkin patch, our Anne of Green Gables movie day, Thanksgiving gathering, rainy indoor days with blankets and hot cocoa, wood burning fires, reading books, candles flickering . . . too hard to choose!
