This year our curriculum has added some beautiful watercolor assignments based on nature. We do not have the current version of the Teacher's Guide, but decided to weave it in ourselves by purchasing the student notebook and the Watercolor in Nature book. I just love how each assignment is hand sketched and then painted with such intricate details. Interwoven assignments include poetry, too! I found some vintage torn watercolor paper and it has elevated each painting as an amazing work of art. I'm having her research each entry and writing up a small paragraph.
