The Christmas Star
Said the night wind to the little lamb,
do you see what I see
Way up in the sky, little lamb,
do you see what I see
A star, a star, dancing in the night
With a tail as big as a kite
With a tail as big as a kite
do you see what I see
Way up in the sky, little lamb,
do you see what I see
A star, a star, dancing in the night
With a tail as big as a kite
With a tail as big as a kite
The night was clear and still. The beauty of calm was present as was the excitement to see the Christmas Star. A rare occasion where the stars aligned on Christmas Eve - maybe a once in a lifetime event. A reminder of hope for those who believe in the true Gift of Christmas. The deep meaning behind that baby born in a manger who humbled my thoughts as I stared up in the sky.
My husband brought out his scope and we tried to see what we could see. It was the magic of looking together at His amazing creation. The remembering of the way a similar star's light led to a humble manger.
