Summer in the garden! It's been early mornings and quiet moments. I watch the clouds in the sky and say prayers of thanksgiving and plead for rain. As I stand with bare feet on the rocky hard surface, grounded with nature, I'm deeply conscious of the need to be watered - both in the physical sense and the spiritual sense. This year, the drought has been so bad, that even the weeds are not growing. Gardening is a process and giving me moments to reflect on life... some things move slowly as they grow, while others just seem to bloom overnight. I ponder the areas of my life that are growing strong and I can feel the areas affected by the drought and needing greater attention.
