Hello November

Those dreams of Chesnut Praline lattes are here!  Yum!!  I actually sat in a long line on the first day they were offered.  The weather has officially changed and layers of clothing, fuzzy socks, blankets and the fireplace lit is becoming the new rhythm.

The waves of grief still wash ashore unexpectedly.   The air we breathe still feels gloomy, but I see smiles and signs of hope.  Faith is a journey and rest comes when we can believe and trust in His full plan unfolding - especially among the pain and the hard days.  Time is distance from grief's hold.

Update on October:

-:- decorate for autumn ✔
-:- find beautiful rest again - still missing those slower days ✔
-:- have a canning day ✔
-:- visit pumpkin patch ✔
-:- enjoy our annual tradition with Anne of Green Gables - usually done on the 1st day of Autumn but I purposely postponed with all the heartache and funerals. - still need to make this happen!
-:- find apple cider doughnuts or make some - still looking but will need to look for recipe.
-:- have a campfire and s'mores! - we need the winds to slow. 
-:- start planning for holidays ✔
-:- picnic at the zoo - weather was fairly hot and hoping for a better autumn day to enjoy.
