Little bits about me - Love

I really enjoyed writing out my January post, although very late!  February is a short, fun month of love, winter slow, and usually a better rhythm after the holidays and the busy beginning of the New Year.

1.  Kisses or Hugs?  - I save the kisses for my dear husband, but I love a snuggly warm hug!

2.  Candy or Flowers? - Flowers - the hand picked or wild ones.  I try to have a fresh bouquet on my table each week.

3.  Baking or Cooking? - Baking!!

4.  Do you remember your first kiss?  I remember the one that matters most with my husband while we were dating.  He surprised me with a quick kiss on our porch and then ran because he was shy!  Love this!

5.  Favorite Color of Roses?  - I have a special spot for yellow roses because they remind me of my sister who passed away.  My favorite color though, is one I don't see too often,  - a coral color.

6.  Conversation Hearts, Yes or No? - I don't like much candy, so I'd have to say no.

7.  Do you leave love notes? - Yes!  We leave love notes on our bathroom mirrors!  I also will drop little notes in my husband's lunch box.

8.  Do you decorate for Valentine's Day? - not really.  It's not a holiday that we really embrace.  Instead, we kind of incorporate themes for February like love and focus on that.

9.  Red or pink? - Neither really.  I'm more a rust or barn color - so probably more in the reds.

10.  Milk, White or Dark Chocolate - Hands down dark chocolate and add in a creamy caramel in the center and it's a special treat.

11.  Do you believe in love at first sight? - I believe that love grows, so while, I believe that there may be a spark that gets ignited, I think that love is something that needs a little more than a first glance.  It's the inside of each of us that matters.

12.  Do you give Humorous or Serious Valentine's cards? - We don't really do either.  If we do, I believe it would be more of the handmade type.

13.  Favorite Chick Flick or Romantic Movie? - Hmm.... I've usually classified the chick flicks as more the romantic type.  My choice would probably be romantic comedy - light hearted, fun, and the happily ever after.   I love a good thought-provoking drama, too, but they are harder to come by in the standard that I would approve for myself to watch.  I dislike the foul languages used.  My all time favorite movie that I watch every year with my girls is Anne of Green Gables.

14.  Stay in or Go Out? - Stay in with flannel pajamas, fuzzy socks, wrapped in a blanket, and take-out food so I don't have to cook!
